Ikrima reported,

A man pronounced the zihar formula against his wife, then had relations with her before making expiation. He mentioned this to the Prophet ﷺ, who asked him, "What led you to do that?"He replied, "May Allah have mercy on you, Messenger of Allah. I caught sight of her anklets," or he said, "her legs, in the moonlight."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Then keep away from her until you have done what Allah has commanded you."

عن عكرمة قال

تظاهر رجل من امرأته فأصابها قبل أن يكفر فذكر ذلك للنبي ﷺ فقال له النبي ﷺ ما حملك على ذلك قال رحمك الله يا رسول الله رأيت خلخالها أو ساقيها في ضوء القمر فقال رسول الله ﷺ فاعتزلها حتى تفعل ما أمرك الله عز وجل
