The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "One bed is for the man, one for his wife, a third for the guest, and the fourth is for Satan."
أخبرنا يونس بن عبد الأعلى قال أنبأنا ابن وهب قال أخبرني أبو هانئ الخولاني أنه سمع أبا عبد الرحمن الحبلي يقول
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال فراش للرجل وفراش لأهله والثالث للضيف والرابع للشيطان
Muslim reported it in the Book of Clothing, chapter on the dislike of having more bedding and clothing than needed, hadith no. 2084, from the hadith of Ibn Wahb, with the same chain, and it is also in Sunan al-Kubra, hadith no. 5574.
