The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no jalab, no janab, and no shighar in Islam, and whoever seizes plunder is not one of us."
أخبرنا حميد بن مسعدة قال حدثنا بشر قال حدثنا حميد عن الحسن
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لا جلب ولا جنب ولا شغار في الإسلام ومن انتهب نهبة فليس منا
[Sahih] Ibn Majah reported it in "Fitan", chapter "The Prohibition of Plundering", no. 3937, from Humayd bin Masada with the same wording, and it is also found in al-Kubra, no. 5495. Tirmidhi said, no. 1123, hasan sahih. Sahih. Bishr is Ibn Mufaddal, and Humayd is Humayd the Tall. The hadith has corroborating narrations, see no. 1853.
