She informed him that her uncle through breastfeeding, named Aflah, sought permission to enter her presence, but she screened herself from him. When she informed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ of this, he said, "Do not screen yourself from him, for breastfeeding makes unlawful what lineage makes unlawful."
أخبرنا قتيبة قال حدثنا الليث عن يزيد بن أبي حبيب عن عراك عن عروة
أنها أخبرته أن عمها من الرضاعة يسمى أفلح استأذن عليها فحجبته فأخبر رسول الله ﷺ فقال لا تحتجبي منه فإنه يحرم من الرضاع ما يحرم من النسب
Reported by Muslim, Rida (Suckling), chapter on the prohibition of breastfeeding through the water of the male (i.e., through the milk that results from the husband's intercourse with the wet nurse), hadith no. 9/1445, from Qutayba bin Saeed with this chain, and Bukhari, Testimonies, chapter on testimony regarding lineages, widely-known breastfeeding, and old deaths, hadith no. 2644, from the hadith of Arak with this chain.
