The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whatever is prohibited through birth is prohibited through breastfeeding."

[Its isnad is sahih]. Reported by Tirmidhi, Radaah, chapter "What Is Prohibited by Breastfeeding as It Is Prohibited by Lineage," no. 1147, from the hadith of Yahya Qattan, with this wording. He said, "Hasan sahih." It is also found in the Muwatta (Yahya): 2/607. Ibn Hibban and others graded it sahih.
