The Messenger of Allah ﷺ met me and asked, "Jabir, have you married a woman since I last saw you?"I replied, "Yes, Messenger of Allah."He asked, "A virgin or a previously married woman?"I said, "A previously married woman."He said, "Why not a virgin, so you could play with each other?"

لقيني رسول الله ﷺ فقال يا جابر هل أصبت امرأة بعدي قلت نعم يا رسول الله قال أبكرا أم أيما قلت أيما قال فهلا بكرا تلاعبك
Takhrij (Source Reference): Bukhari narrated it in Wakalah (Agency), chapter "If a man appoints another as agent to give something without specifying it, etc.", hadith 2309, from the hadith of Ibn Jurayj at length. It also appears in Kubra, hadith 5328, and it has another route in Muslim, hadith 715, after hadith 1466, in Rida (Suckling), chapter "The recommendation of marrying a religiously devout woman."
