The Messenger of Allah ﷺ promised us a campaign against Hind. If I live to see it, I will spend my life and my wealth in it. If I am killed, I will be among the most excellent of martyrs, and if I return, I will be Abu Hurairah the freed.

وعدنا رسول الله ﷺ غزوة الهند فإن أدركتها أنفق فيها نفسي ومالي فإن أقتل كنت من أفضل الشهداء وإن أرجع فأنا أبو هريرة المحرر
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Ahmad narrated it: 2/228, 229, from Hushaym through this route, and it is in Kubra, no. 4382.Jabr bin Ubayda was not deemed reliable by anyone except Ibn Hibban, and Dhahabi said, "Through a rejected report. Who is this person? He is not known."
