Amr reported,

A hadith I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever turns gray with a single gray hair in the path of Allah the Exalted, it will be a light for him on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever shoots an arrow in the path of Allah the Exalted, whether it reaches the enemy or not, it will count for him as the freeing of a slave. And whoever frees a believing slave, it will be his ransom from the Fire, limb for limb."

أخبرنا عمرو بن عثمان بن سعيد بن كثير قال حدثنا بقية عن صفوان قال حدثني سليم بن عامر عن شرحبيل بن السمط أنه قال لعمرو بن عبسة يا
