Abu Ayub reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A morning or evening spent in the cause of Allah is better than all that the sun rises upon and sets upon."

Muslim narrated it in the Book of Leadership, Chapter on the Merit of Setting Out in the Morning and in the Evening in the Path of Allah, hadith no. 1883, from the hadith of Abu Abdul-Rahman Abdullah bin Yazid Muqri, through this same chain. It is also in Al-Kubra, hadith no. 4327.
