Some Bedouins from the tribe of Urayna came to the Prophet ﷺ and accepted Islam. They found the climate of Medina unhealthy, so much so that their complexions turned pale and their bellies swelled. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ therefore sent them out to where his milk-camels were kept and ordered them to drink from the camels' milk and urine. They recovered their health, but then killed the herdsman and drove off the camels. The Prophet of Allah ﷺ sent men in pursuit of them, and they were brought back. He had their hands and feet cut off and their eyes branded with hot iron.The Commander of the Faithful, Abdul-Malik, asked Anas while he was relating this hadith to him, "Was this for unbelief or for a sin?"Anas replied, "For unbelief."Abu Abdul-Rahman said, We do not know of anyone who narrated this hadith from Yahya from Anas other than Talha. In my view, and Allah Most High knows best, the correct version is Yahya from Saeed bin Musayab as a mursal report.
أخبرنا محمد بن وهب حدثنا محمد بن سلمة عن أبي عبد الرحيم قال حدثني زيد بن أبي أنيسة عن طلحة بن مصرف عن يحيى بن سعيد
قدم أعراب من عرينة إلى النبي ﷺ فأسلموا فاجتووا المدينة حتى اصفرت ألوانهم وعظمت بطونهم فبعث بهم رسول الله ﷺ إلى لقاح له وأمرهم أن يشربوا من ألبانها وأبوالها حتى صحوا فقتلوا راعيها واستاقوا الإبل فبعث نبي الله ﷺ في طلبهم فأتي بهم فقطع أيديهم وأرجلهم وسمر أعينهم قال أمير المؤمنين عبد الملك لأنس وهو يحدثه هذا الحديث بكفر أم بذنب قال بكفر قال أبو عبد الرحمن لا نعلم أحدا قال عن يحيى عن أنس في هذا الحديث غير طلحة والصواب عندي والله تعالى أعلم يحيى عن سعيد بن المسيب مرسل
