I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ throwing the pebbles at Jamrat al-Aqaba on the Day of Sacrifice while mounted on a reddish-white she-camel of his. There was no striking, no driving people away, and no shouting of "Move aside, move aside."
أخبرنا إسحق بن إبراهيم قال أنبأنا وكيع قال حدثنا أيمن بن نابل
رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يرمي جمرة العقبة يوم النحر على ناقة له صهباء لا ضرب ولا طرد ولا إليك إليك
[Its chain of transmission is hasan] Ibn Majah narrated it in the Book of Rites, Chapter on Throwing the Pebbles While Riding, no. 3035, from the hadith of Waki with this wording. It is also found in al-Kubra, no. 4067. Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, 4/278, no. 2878, and Tirmidhi said, no. 903, hasan sahih.
