The Prophet ﷺ departed from Arafah saying, "Calmly, servants of Allah, calmly," gesturing with his hand like this. Ayub demonstrated by turning the palm of his hand toward the sky.
أخبرني أبو داود قال حدثنا سليمان بن حرب قال حدثنا حماد بن زيد عن أيوب عن أبي الزبير
أن النبي ﷺ أفاض من عرفة وجعل يقول السكينة عباد الله يقول بيده هكذا وأشار أيوب بباطن كفه إلى السماء
[Sahih] Ahmad reported it (3/355) from the hadith of Hammad bin Zayd through the same route, and it is in Kubra, no. 4017. This hadith has very many corroborating witnesses.
