We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a state of ihram for Hajj. As we drew near to Mecca, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever does not have a sacrificial animal with him should exit ihram, and whoever has a sacrificial animal with him should remain in his ihram."She said, Zubayr had a sacrificial animal with him, so he remained in his ihram, but I did not have one, so I exited ihram. I put on my clothes and applied some of my perfume, then sat down beside Zubayr.He said, "Move away from me."I replied, "Do you fear that I might leap upon you?"
أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الله بن المبارك قال حدثنا أبو هشام قال حدثنا وهيب بن خالد عن منصور بن عبد الرحمن عن أمه
قدمنا مع رسول الله ﷺ مهلين بالحج فلما دنونا من مكة قال رسول الله ﷺ من لم يكن معه هدي فليحلل ومن كان معه هدي فليقم على إحرامه قالت وكان مع الزبير هدي فأقام على إحرامه ولم يكن معي هدي فأحللت فلبست ثيابي وتطيبت من طيبي ثم جلست إلى الزبير فقال استأخري عني فقلت أتخشى أن أثب عليك
