The Prophet ﷺ and his companions performed the sai between Safa and Marwa only once.
أخبرنا عمرو بن علي قال حدثنا يحيى قال أنبأنا ابن جريج قال أخبرني أبو الزبير أنه سمع
لم يطف النبي ﷺ وأصحابه بين الصفا والمروة إلا طوافا واحدا
Muslim reported it in the chapter on Hajj, in the section explaining the forms of ihram and that it is permissible to perform Hajj alone, or Tamattu, or Qiran, and so on, hadith no. 1215, from the hadith of Yahya Qattan with this chain, and it is also in Kubra, hadith no. 3980.
