Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed seven circuits around the House, jogging during the first three and walking during the remaining four. He then stood at the Station, where he prayed two units of prayer. He recited "And take from the Station of Ibrahim a place of prayer" [Baqarah 2:125], raising his voice so that the people could hear him.He then turned away, touched the corner, and proceeded onward, saying, "We begin with what Allah began with." So he began with Safa, climbing it until the House came into his view. He then said three times, "There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs the dominion, to Him belongs all praise. He gives life and causes death, and He has power over all things." He magnified Allah and praised Him, then supplicated with whatever was decreed for him.He then descended, walking until his feet entered the bottom of the valley, where he ran until his feet ascended on the other side. He continued walking until he reached Marwa and climbed it. When the House came into his view, he said, "There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs the dominion, to Him belongs all praise. And He has power over all things." He said this three times, then he remembered Allah, glorified Him, and praised Him, then supplicated with whatever Allah willed. He continued doing this until he completed the circuits.
