He met the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "Tawaf around the House is prayer, so speak little during it." The wording is from Yusuf. Hanzala bin Abu Sufyan reported it differently.
أخبرنا يوسف بن سعيد قال حدثنا حجاج عن ابن جريج قال أخبرني الحسن بن مسلم ح والحارث بن مسكين قراءة عليه وأنا أسمع عن ابن وهب أخبرني ابن جريج عن الحسن بن مسلم عن طاوس

[Its chain of transmission is sahih, mawquf]. It appears in Al-Kubra, no. 3945, but there marfu, and Ahmad narrated it in 3/414, 5/377, 4/64 with a sahih chain from Ibn Jurayj through this route, marfu. It has corroborating narrations in Tirmidhi, no. 960, and elsewhere.
