The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions arrived on the morning of the fourth, calling out the talbiyah for Hajj, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered them to release themselves from ihram.
أخبرنا محمد بن معمر قال حدثنا حبان قال حدثنا وهيب قال حدثنا أيوب عن أبي العالية البراء
قدم رسول الله ﷺ وأصحابه لصبح رابعة وهم يلبون بالحج فأمرهم رسول الله ﷺ أن يحلوا
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Shortening Prayers, chapter titled "How long did the Prophet ﷺ stay during his Hajj?" (Hadith: 1085), and Muslim narrated it in the Book of Hajj, chapter titled "The permissibility of Umrah during the months of Hajj" (Hadith: 201/1240), from the hadith of Wahib, transmitted through him. It is also found in Al-Kubra (Hadith: 3853).
