The Prophet ﷺ entered Mecca on the day of its conquest wearing a black turban, without being in a state of ihram.
أخبرنا قتيبة قال حدثنا معاوية بن عمار قال حدثني أبو الزبير المكي
أن النبي ﷺ دخل يوم فتح مكة وعليه عمامة سوداء بغير إحرام
Reported by Muslim, Hajj, chapter on the permissibility of entering Makkah without ihram, 1358, from Qutayba through him, and it is in Kubra, hadith: 3852.
