We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ intending nothing but the Hajj. When we reached Mecca and performed the circumambulation of the House, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered those who had not brought sacrificial animals to exit the state of ihram. So those who had not brought sacrificial animals exited ihram, and his wives, who had not brought any, also exited ihram.Ayesha said, "I began menstruating, so I could not perform the circumambulation of the House. On the night of Hasbah, I said, 'Messenger of Allah, the people are returning with both an Umrah and a Hajj, while I am returning with only a Hajj.'"He asked, "Did you not perform the circumambulation during the nights when we arrived in Mecca?"I replied, "No."He said, "Then go with your brother to Tanim and enter ihram for an Umrah. Your meeting place will be such-and-such a spot."
