The Messenger of Allah ﷺ set out. We were also informed by Yaqub bin Ibrahim, who said Yahya bin Saeed narrated to us, who said Abdullah bin Mubarak narrated to us, who said Muamar narrated to us from Zuhri, from Urwa, from Miswar bin Makhrama and Marwan bin Hakam, who said:The Messenger of Allah ﷺ set out at the time of Hudaybiyah with somewhere over a thousand of his companions. When they reached Dhul Hulayfa, he garlanded the sacrificial animals, marked them, and entered the state of ihram for umrah. Abridged.
أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الأعلى قال حدثنا محمد بن ثور عن معمر عن الزهري عن عروة
خرج رسول الله ﷺ ح وأنبأنا يعقوب بن إبراهيم قال حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد قال حدثنا عبد الله بن المبارك قال حدثنا معمر عن الزهري عن عروة عن المسور بن مخرمة ومروان بن الحكم قال خرج رسول الله ﷺ زمن الحديبية في بضع عشرة مائة من أصحابه حتى إذا كانوا بذي الحليفة قلد الهدي وأشعر وأحرم بالعمرة مختصر
Bukhari narrated it in the book of Hajj, chapter on one who marked and garlanded the sacrificial animal at Zulhulayfa and then entered the state of ihram, hadith no. 1694 and 1695, from the hadith of Abdullah bin Mubarak, with this same chain, and it is also in al-Kubra, hadith no. 3752.
