The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the use of saffron as a dye. Hammad said, meaning for men.
أخبرنا قتيبة قال حدثنا حماد عن عبد العزيز
أن رسول الله ﷺ نهى عن التزعفر قال حماد يعني للرجال
Muslim reported it, h: 2101, from Qutayba, through him (see the preceding hadith, h: 2708), and it is in Kubra, h: 3688.
