It was reported from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that while he was at the resting place in Dhul-Hulayfah, someone came to him and said, "You are in a blessed valley."
أخبرنا عبدة بن عبد الله عن سويد عن زهير عن موسى بن عقبة عن سالم بن عبد الله
عن رسول الله ﷺ أنه وهو في المعرس بذي الحليفة أتي فقيل له إنك ببطحاء مباركة
Bukhari related it in Hajj, in the chapter on the Prophet'sﷺ saying, "Aqeeq is a blessed valley," hadith no. 1535, etc., and hadith no. 1346, and Muslim related it in Hajj, in the chapter on the recommendation of stopping at the Batha of Dhul-Hulayfa and praying there, through the hadith of Musa bin Uqba. It is also found in Kubra, hadith no. 3640.
