The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no zakat due from a Muslim on his slave or his horse."
أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الله بن المبارك قال حدثنا وكيع عن شعبة وسفيان عن عبد الله بن دينار عن سليمان بن يسار عن عراك بن مالك
قال رسول الله ﷺ ليس على المسلم في عبده ولا فرسه صدقة
Bukhari narrated it in Zakat, chapter "There is no charity due on a Muslim for his horse," hadith 1463, from the hadith of Shubah, and Muslim, in Zakat, chapter "There is no zakat due on a Muslim for his slave and his horse," hadith 982, from the hadith of Abdullah bin Dinar, via the same route. It is also found in Kubra, hadith 2246.
