I used to bathe with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from a single vessel, each of us hurrying to scoop water before the other, until he would say, "Leave some for me," and I would say, "Leave some for me."Suwayd's version says, We would each rush to scoop before the other, and I would say, "Leave some for me, leave some for me."

Muslim recorded it in the Book of Menstruation, chapter: The recommended amount of water, 46/321, from the hadith of Asim al-Ahwal, with the same wording. It is also found in Kubra, hadith no. 241.
