The Prophet ﷺ came to her while he was fasting and asked, "Do you have anything for me to eat?"She replied, "No."He said, "Then I am fasting."He came to her another time, and she said, "We have been given a gift."He asked, "What is it?"She said, "Hays."He said, "I had begun the day fasting," but then he ate.
أخبرنا عمرو بن علي قال حدثنا يحيى قال حدثنا طلحة بن يحيى قال حدثتني عائشة بنت طلحة
أن النبي ﷺ كان يأتيها وهو صائم فقال أصبح عندكم شيء تطعمينيه فنقول لا فيقول إني صائم ثم جاءها بعد ذلك فقالت أهديت لنا هدية فقال ما هي قالت حيس قال قد أصبحت صائما فأكل
