The Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned the month of Ramadan and gave it precedence over the other months, and he said, "Whoever stands in prayer during Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward from Allah will emerge from his sins as on the day his mother gave birth to him."Abu Abdul-Rahman said, "This is a mistake. The correct chain is Abu Salama, from Abu Hurairah, and the wording is, 'Whoever fasts it and stands in prayer during it out of faith and seeking reward from Allah.'"
