The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Eat the predawn meal, for there is blessing in it."
أخبرنا قتيبة قال حدثنا أبو عوانة عن قتادة وعبد العزيز
قال رسول الله ﷺ تسحروا فإن في السحور بركة
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Fasting, chapter "The Virtue of the Pre-Dawn Meal," etc., no. 1095, from Qutayba, and Bukhari, in the Book of Fasting, chapter "The Blessing of the Pre-Dawn Meal Without Making It Obligatory," no. 1923, through the hadith of Abdul-Aziz bin Suhayb by this same route. It also appears in Al-Kubra, no. 2456.
