We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when a funeral procession passed by. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "One who finds rest, and one from whom others find rest. The believer dies and finds rest from the hardships, toils, and harms of this world. The wicked one dies, and Allah's servants, the lands, the trees, and the beasts find rest from him."
أخبرنا محمد بن وهب بن أبي كريمة الحراني قال حدثنا محمد بن سلمة وهو الحراني عن أبي عبد الرحيم حدثني زيد عن وهب بن كيسان عن معبد بن كعب
كنا جلوسا عند رسول الله ﷺ إذ طلعت جنازة فقال رسول الله ﷺ مستريح ومستراح منه المؤمن يموت فيستريح من أوصاب الدنيا ونصبها وأذاها والفاجر يموت فيستريح منه العباد والبلاد والشجر والدواب
