The Messenger of Allah ﷺ announced the deaths of Zayd and Jafar before news of them had arrived. He announced their deaths with tears flowing from his eyes.
أخبرنا إسحق قال أنبأنا سليمان بن حرب قال حدثنا حماد بن زيد عن أيوب عن حميد بن هلال
أن رسول الله ﷺ نعى زيدا وجعفرا قبل أن يجيء خبرهم فنعاهم وعيناه تذرفان
