The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him, and whoever hates to meet Allah, Allah hates to meet him."
أخبرنا محمد بن المثنى قال حدثنا محمد قال حدثنا شعبة عن قتادة قال سمعت أنسا
عن النبي ﷺ قال من أحب لقاء الله أحب الله لقاءه ومن كره لقاء الله كره الله لقاءه
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Remembrance and Supplication, Chapter on Whoever Loves to Meet Allah, Allah Loves to Meet Him, hadith no. 2683, from Muhammad bin Muthanna. Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Heart-Softening Matters, Chapter on Whoever Loves to Meet Allah, Allah Loves to Meet Him, hadith no. 6507, from the hadith of Qatada, through the same chain. It is also found in Kubra, hadith no. 1962.
