The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah the Exalted has said, 'When My servant loves to meet Me, I love to meet him, and when he hates to meet Me, I hate to meet him.'"
قال الحارث بن مسكين قراءة عليه وأنا أسمع عن ابن القاسم حدثني مالك ح وأنبأنا قتيبة قال حدثنا المغيرة عن أبي الزناد عن الأعرج
قال رسول الله ﷺ قال الله تعالى إذا أحب عبدي لقائي أحببت لقاءه وإذا كره لقائي كرهت لقاءه
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Tawhid, chapter "The saying of Allah Most High, "They want to change the words of Allah"," hadith no. 7504, from the hadith of Malik through this route, and it is found in the Muwatta (recension of Yahya), 1/240, and in Kubra, hadith no. 1961.
