Ali reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught me words to say in the qunut of the witr prayer."Allah, guide me among those You have guided, grant me well-being among those You have granted well-being, take me into Your care among those You have taken into Your care, bless me in what You have given, and protect me from the evil of what You have decreed. For You decree, and none can decree against You. Truly, no one You support is ever humiliated. Blessed are You, our Lord, and exalted."
Sahih. Reported by Abu Dawud, Prayer, chapter on the qunut in Witr, no. 1425, and Tirmidhi, Prayer, chapter on what has been said about the qunut in Witr, no. 464, from Qutayba with this wording. It is also in al-Kubra, no. 1442. Tirmidhi said, "Hasan." Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, as did Nawawi in al-Adhkar.
