The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the Witr prayer Surah al-Ala, Surah al-Kafirun, and Surah al-Ikhlas. After giving the salam, he would say, "Glory be to the King, the Most Holy," raising his voice on the third repetition of "Glory be to the King, the Most Holy."Mansur narrated this from Salama bin Kuhayl, but he did not mention Dharr.
أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الأعلى قال حدثنا خالد قال حدثنا شعبة قال أخبرني سلمة وزبيد عن ذر عن ابن عبد الرحمن بن أبزى
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يقرأ في الوتر بسبح اسم ربك الأعلى وقل يا أيها الكافرون وقل هو الله أحد ثم يقول إذا سلم سبحان الملك القدوس ويرفع بسبحان الملك القدوس صوته بالثالثة رواه منصور عن سلمة بن كهيل ولم يذكر ذرا
