The Prophet ﷺ entered upon her while a woman was with her, and he asked, "Who is this?"She replied, "So-and-so, who does not sleep," and mentioned how much she prayed. He said, "Stop. Take on only what you can sustain. By Allah, Allah does not tire until you grow tired. The most beloved religious practice to Him is the one its doer maintains consistently."
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Faith, chapter "The Most Beloved Religion to Allah Is the Most Consistent," hadith no. 43, and Muslim narrated it in the Book of the Prayer of Travelers, chapter "The Virtue of Consistent Practice," etc., hadith no. 785/221, from the hadith of Yahya Qattan through this same chain, 221/785. It is also found in Kubra, hadith no. 1307.
