Abdullah bin Umar reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to slaughter or sacrifice at the prayer ground.

Bukhari narrated it in "the Eids," chapter "Sacrifice and Slaughter at the Prayer Ground on the Day of Sacrifice," hadith 982, from the hadith of Layth bin Saad through the same chain, and it is also in al-Kubra, hadith 4456.
