I felt too shy to ask the Prophet ﷺ about prostatic fluid because of Fatimah, so I instructed Miqdad bin Aswad to ask him. He replied that it requires ablution.
أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الأعلى قال حدثنا خالد عن شعبة قال أخبرني سليمان قال سمعت منذرا عن محمد بن علي
استحييت أن أسأل النبي ﷺ عن المذي من أجل فاطمة فأمرت المقداد بن الأسود فسأله فقال فيه الوضوء
Bukhari transmitted it in the Book of Knowledge, chapter "Whoever is too shy and asks someone else to inquire," hadith no. 132, and Muslim in the Book of Menstruation, chapter on madhi, hadith no. 18/303, from the hadith of Sulayman Amash, through this same chain. It is also found in Kubra, hadith no. 149.
