While the Prophet ﷺ was delivering the Friday sermon, a man came in. The Prophet ﷺ asked him, "Have you prayed?"He replied, "No."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Stand up and pray two rakahs."
أخبرنا قتيبة قال حدثنا حماد بن زيد عن عمرو بن دينار
بينا النبي ﷺ يخطب يوم الجمعة إذ جاء رجل فقال له النبي ﷺ صليت قال لا قال قم فاركع
Muslim reported it in his chapter on Friday, the section on the greeting while the imam is delivering the sermon, hadith no. 875, from Qutayba, and Bukhari reported it in his chapter on Friday, the section titled "When the imam sees a man come in, etc.," hadith no. 930, from the hadith of Hammad bin Zayd, with the same wording. It is also found in Al-Kubra, hadith no. 1717.
