The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said while standing on the pulpit, "Whoever among you comes to the Friday prayer, let him perform a ritual bath."Abu Abdul-Rahman said, "I do not know of anyone who followed Layth on this chain of narration except Ibn Jurayj. The companions of Zuhri report it from Salim bin Abdullah from his father, instead of from Abdullah bin Abdullah bin Umar."
أخبرنا قتيبة قال حدثنا الليث عن ابن شهاب عن عبد الله بن عبد الله
عن رسول الله ﷺ أنه قال وهو قائم على المنبر من جاء منكم الجمعة فليغتسل قال أبو عبد الرحمن ما أعلم أحدا تابع الليث على هذا الإسناد غير ابن جريج وأصحاب الزهري يقولون عن سالم بن عبد الله عن أبيه بدل عبد الله بن عبد الله بن عمر
