The Prophet ﷺ taught us the sermon for any important occasion."Praise be to Allah. We seek His help and His forgiveness, and we seek refuge in Allah from the evils of our souls and from the wickedness of our deeds. Whomever Allah guides, none can lead astray, and whomever He leads astray, none can guide. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger."Then he would recite three verses."You who believe, fear Allah as He should be feared, and do not die except as Muslims" [Aal Imran 3:102]."People, fear your Lord, who created you from a single soul and from it created its mate and from them spread out countless men and women. Fear Allah, in whose name you make demands of one another, and the ties of kinship. Indeed, Allah is ever watching over you" [Nisa 4:1]."You who believe, fear Allah and speak words of straight truth" [Ahzab 33:70].Abu Abdul-Rahman said, Abu Ubayda did not hear anything directly from his father, nor did Abdul-Rahman bin Abdullah bin Masud, nor did Abdul-Jabbar bin Waail bin Hujr.
Its chain is daif. Abu Dawud transmitted it in the Book of Marriage, chapter on the wedding sermon, hadith 2118, from the hadith of Abu Ishaq, and it is found in Al-Kubra, hadith 1709. It has another daif route in which Abu Ishaq narrates with an ambiguous form of transmission (an'ana), which has already been mentioned, hadith 96.
