The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah does not accept prayer without purification, nor charity from the spoils of war taken dishonestly."
أخبرنا قتيبة قال حدثنا أبو عوانة عن قتادة
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا يقبل الله صلاة بغير طهور ولا صدقة من غلول
Sahih. Reported by Abu Dawud, Tahara, Chapter on the Obligation of Wudu, no. 59, and Ibn Majah, Tahara, Chapter on "Allah Does Not Accept Prayer Without Purification", no. 271, from the hadith of Qatada with this chain. It is also in al-Kubra, no. 172, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 145. Shuba narrated it from Qatada with this chain.
