The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you comes to the Friday prayer, let him perform a complete washing."
أخبرنا قتيبة عن مالك عن نافع
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إذا جاء أحدكم الجمعة فليغتسل
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Friday, chapter on the merit of ghusl on Friday etc., hadith no. 877, from the hadith of Malik. Muslim narrated it in the Book of Friday, chapter on the book of Friday, hadith no. 1/844, from the hadith of Nafi from him. It is also found in Muwatta (Yahya narration), 1/102, and in Kubra, hadith no. 1678.
