It is reported that the Prophet ﷺ led them in the noon prayer and prayed five units. They said to him, "You prayed five units."So he performed two prostrations while seated, after he had given the closing salutation.
أخبرنا عبدة بن عبد الرحيم قال أنبأنا ابن شميل قال أنبأنا شعبة عن الحكم ومغيرة عن إبراهيم عن علقمة
عن النبي ﷺ أنه صلى بهم الظهر خمسا فقالوا إنك صليت خمسا فسجد سجدتين بعد ما سلم وهو جالس
