The Prophet ﷺ prayed Dhuhr as five units. He was asked, "Has something been added to the prayer?"He replied, "Why do you ask?"They said, "You prayed five units."So he turned his leg and performed two prostrations.
أخبرنا محمد بن المثنى ومحمد بن بشار واللفظ لابن المثنى قالا حدثنا يحيى عن شعبة عن الحكم عن إبراهيم عن علقمة
صلى النبي ﷺ الظهر خمسا فقيل له أزيد في الصلاة قال وما ذاك قالوا صليت خمسا فثنى رجله وسجد سجدتين
[Sahih] Bukhari narrated it in Salah, chapter on what has been said about the qibla, etc., no. 404, from the hadith of Yahya Qattan, and Muslim in Masajid, chapter on forgetfulness in prayer and the sujud for it, no. 91/572, from the hadith of Shubah, through him, and it is in Kubra, no. 1177.
