The Prophet ﷺ said, "Saying 'Subhan Allah' is for men, and clapping is for women." Ibn al-Muthanna added, "during the prayer."
أخبرنا قتيبة ومحمد بن المثنى واللفظ له قالا حدثنا سفيان عن الزهري عن أبي سلمة
عن النبي ﷺ قال التسبيح للرجال والتصفيق للنساء زاد ابن المثنى في الصلاة
Bukhari transmitted it, Actions During Prayer, Chapter on Clapping for Women, no. 1203, and Muslim, Prayer, Chapter on the Man Saying "Glory be to Allah" and the Woman Clapping When Something Occurs to Them During Prayer, no. 106/422, from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna through this route, and it is also in al-Kubra, no. 534 and 1130.
