I saw the Prophet ﷺ leading the people in prayer while carrying Umama, the daughter of Abu al-As, on his shoulder. When he bowed, he would set her down, and when he finished his prostration, he would lift her back up.

رأيت النبي ﷺ يؤم الناس وهو حامل أمامة بنت أبي العاص على عاتقه فإذا ركع وضعها فإذا فرغ من سجوده أعادها
