Abdullah bin Masud reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught us the tashahhud for the prayer and the tashahhud for occasions of need.As for the tashahhud in the prayer, it is, "All greetings, prayers, and pure words belong to Allah. Peace be upon you, Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger," to the end of the tashahhud.

أخبرنا قتيبة قال حدثنا عبثر عن الأعمش عن أبي إسحق عن أبي الأحوص

عن عبد الله قال

علمنا رسول الله ﷺ التشهد في الصلاة والتشهد في الحاجة فأما التشهد في الصلاة التحيات لله والصلوات والطيبات السلام عليك أيها النبي ورحمة الله وبركاته السلام علينا وعلى عباد الله الصالحين أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وأشهد أن محمدا عبده ورسوله إلى آخر التشهد
