When the Prophet ﷺ began the prayer, he would say the takbeer and raise his hands. He would also raise them when he bowed and after rising from the bowing, but he did not raise them between the two prostrations.
أخبرنا إسحق بن إبراهيم عن سفيان عن الزهري
كان النبي ﷺ إذا افتتح الصلاة كبر ورفع يديه وإذا ركع وبعد الركوع ولا يرفع بين السجدتين
