The Prophet of Allah ﷺ went to make peace between the tribe of Amr bin Awf, similar to their narration, with the addition that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came and parted the rows until he stood at the front row, and in it is that Abu Bakr stepped backwards.

ذهب نبي الله ﷺ يصلح بين بني عمرو بن عوف بمثل حديثهم وزاد فجاء رسول الله ﷺ فخرق الصفوف حتى قام عند الصف المقدم وفيه أن أبا بكر رجع القهقرى
