I prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, with Abu Bakr, with Umar, and with Uthman, and I never heard any of them recite "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful" [Fatihah 1:1].Shuba said, "I asked Qatada, 'Did you hear this from Anas?'"Qatada replied, "Yes, and we were the ones who questioned him about it."
