Abu Hurairah said, "Recitation is performed in every prayer. What the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited aloud for us, we recite aloud for you, and what he recited silently, we recite silently for you."A man said to him, "What if I do not recite more than the Mother of the Quran?"He replied, "If you add more to it, that is better, but if you stop at it, that suffices you."

قال أبو هريرة في كل الصلاة يقرأ فما أسمعنا رسول الله ﷺ أسمعناكم وما أخفى منا أخفينا منكم فقال له رجل إن لم أزد على أم القرآن فقال إن زدت عليها فهو خير وإن انتهيت إليها أجزأت عنك
